Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator. – 1 Peter 4.19
If we needed a reminder of
just how powerful our God is to help us I tough times we certainly have it
here. When we commit our lives and our souls to Him we do so to the faithful Creator.
Think about it for a second.
If God is indeed the faithful Creator He is the one who said ‘Let there be
light.’ He is the one who created heaven and earth and all that is in it. He is
the one who is in absolute control. If He made it all it is certain to be able
to take care of it.
And that means He can take
care of me. There is nothing beyond His power. Nothing is impossible with Him.
Don’t only does He have the
power, but we know that He is faithful to do.
He said ‘let there be light’
and there was light.
What a mighty God we serve.
Surely I can trust Him.
