“But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.” - Psalms 4v3
When we were saved we were declared godly only on the merit of the finished work of Christ on the cross. When He does that He sets us apart to Himself, divides us from the world, and sanctifies us as His own.
Because He sets us apart from the world He is always there for us and hears us when we call out to Him. We can rest assured at all times that we are His, set apart to Him, and He hears our prayers.
Since we are set apart by Him, it is incumbent on us to live as “set apart ones.”
