The Lord liveth

“The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.” - Psalms 18v46

If we were to judge by the demeanor of many Christians we would swear that God was dead. Christians worry, fret, fear, and generally act as if everything was totally dependent on them. One would never guess that many Christians have the Creator and Sustainer of the universe as their God.

Too many Christians have adopted and accepted the “God is dead” philosophy, even thought they would never admit it. We can go about our daily schedule as if God were not even there.

Why do we act like God is dead? Why do we worry or get upset when things do not go the way we want? Why do “sweat the small stuff”?

The answer is simple – it is a lack of faith that God is really alive. Think of how liberating it would be if we really comprehended the truth that God is not only alive, but that He is vitally concerned with our lives.

The Lord liveth, lets start living like we believe it!
